Pengembangan Smart RPS Generator Berbasis Web Menggunakan Generative AI untuk Otomatisasi Penyusunan dan Validasi RPS Berbasis Outcome-Based Education

Abstract

Developing a Semester Learning Plan based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles is a crucial component of higher education. However, the manual preparation process is often time-consuming, prone to inconsistencies among Graduate Learning Outcomes, Course Learning Outcomes (CLO), sub-CPMKs, course materials, teaching methods, and assessments, and complicates the validation of alignment with OBE principles. This research aims to develop the "Smart RPS Generator," a web-based application integrating Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automate the creation and validation of RPS documents based on OBE principles. The study employs the Design Science Research (DSR) methodology, encompassing problem identification, solution objective setting, design, development, demonstration, and artifact evaluation. The system was developed using web technologies and leverages Generative AI models to automatically generate RPS components and validate the traceability between CPLs, CPMKs, sub-CPMKs, materials, learning strategies, and assessments. The results indicate that the application accelerates the RPS preparation process, enhances consistency across learning components, and facilitates the creation of OBE-aligned RPS documents for lecturers. Consequently, the Smart RPS Generator offers a potential innovative solution to support the digital transformation of learning document preparation in higher education institutions.
